Layne Morgan established Mid-Plains Construction, Inc. in 1994 in Durant, OK. After working in the construction industry for over 20 years, Layne felt it was time to use his experience and accrediated education to create a construction company that business owners could count on from inception to completion. Mid-Plains offers a complete set of construction services to the regional market.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Layne is personally committed to helping every client realize their construction goals. His steadfast leadership and hands-on approach ensure that project objectives are achieved through a professional and proactive process. Layne brings more than 35 years of construction experience and expertise to every client’s project..
Prior to founding Mid-Plains, Layne worked as a project manager for 10 years with a large regional contractor in the Southeast. During his tenure, Layne managed the delivery of dozens of large-scale commercial and industrial projects.

VICE-PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Pam’s extensive experience in construction tax and financial management services ensures that every penny of our clients’ construction costs is handled with precision and accuracy. She brings over 30 years of construction accounting management experience to our organization, ensuring a standard of financial governance that allows Mid-Plains to safely and securely meet clients’ needs.

PRESIDENT /DIRECTOR OF PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Thomas’ primary objective is to ensure the most cost effective delivery of our clients’ projects. By proactively developing a detailed understanding of client needs, Thomas is able to bring value engineering and cost saving solutions to our clients’ projects. His in-depth knowledge of the competitive bid market and strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors allow him to ascertain the most competitive pricing structure for every project budget. Thomas brings over 14 years of construction experience to our preconstruction services offerings.

PROJECT MANAGER
Daniel is dedicated to superior project management through his highly organized and methodical approach in working to meet client’s needs. Providing a critical link in communication between owners, architects, and site supervisors throughout the life cycle of a project, he ensures the most efficient and cost-effective outcomes are achieved. He has five years’ experience in Construction Management prior to joining the Marine Corps, in which he served honorably for seven years.

- Bachelor of Science in Construction Science with a Minor in Architecture, University of Oklahoma
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt

PROJECT MANAGER
Kenny’s expertise as a Construction Superintendent and
Project Manager provides a valuable resource to all of our client’s
projects. He has over 37 years of
construction experience working closely with Subcontractors and Suppliers to
insure our client’s projects are completed in a timely and cost-efficient
manner.
During Kenny’s 22-year tenure with Mid-Plains Construction,
he has completed multiple multi-million dollar projects. He is also a LEED Certified Supervisor.

OFFICE MANAGER/PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
Stacy brings 23 years of Project Management experience working with Contractors, contracts, and the competitive bid process. Her skills ensure our clients get the best quality price for their projects. She is very efficient in working with projects from the pre-bid stage all the way through contract close out and strives to streamline the relationship with our clients. In addition to her responsibilities assisting with Project Management, she is also tasked with the position of Office Manager, overseeing that all office operations are running smoothly.

ACCOUNTANT
Zach’s advanced technological knowledge and accounting education ensure
that our client’s projects are accurately and efficiently documented according
to accounting principles. His
professionalism and high level of technical competence contributes to our
clients’ needs. He brings a dynamic to
the accounting team that maintains the spirit of excellence well established by
Mid-Plains Construction for every client’s project. Zach’s plans are to pursue the designation of
CPA.
